We have experience on more than 30 problem debt workouts involving litigation, in the bankruptcy process as well as outside of the formal legal process.
Our clients include creditors, bond indenture trustees, debtors, and bankruptcy trustees. Most of the engagements have involved complex securitized debt primarily involving real estate assets and mortgages, health care facilities, and natural resources which utilize our skills and experience in analyzing cash flows for more than 10,000 issuances of structural financial products and the restructuring of bond issues.
In addition, our experience in performing feasibility studies for new projects and renovations provides us with insights regarding how to realistically improve performance of an asset and to capture additional revenues which results, in many cases, in unlocking value for the project’s creditors. Additionally, our experience in dealing with complex legal documents enables us to understand and restructure the underlying cash flow drivers to solve problems practically, efficiently and quickly.
