We focus our practice nearly exclusively on working with individuals towards achieving their financial planning goals.

As an SEC Registered Investment Advisor, we focus our practice nearly exclusively on working with individuals towards achieving their financial planning goals. Our financial planning process starts with building a comprehensive financial plan that we call a Capital Sufficiency Analysis. This is followed by the development of an Investment Policy Statement that integrates your risk tolerance to a targeted rate of return that corresponds with your long-term goals. All of this is put in place before an Investment Strategy is even developed. We believe these steps to be vital towards gauging the performance of your investments, not only against industry-wide benchmarks, but also your long-term goals.
We meet with our clients on a quarterly basis (or semi-annual depending on the needs of the client), and our Investment Advisory fees are based on a percentage of assets under management. We utilize only no-load mutual funds or low-cost exchange traded funds and are not compensated by any of the product sponsors in the form of commissions or ongoing trails. Thus, our interest in growing and protecting your asset base is always aligned with your own interests. We have no motivation to alter your account or strategy simply for the purpose of additional compensation. We utilize a highly diversified investment strategy where we target a long-term Strategic Asset Allocation and use short-term tactical changes to capitalize on near-term market opportunities.
We provide a wide array of financial planning services, from segmented to comprehensive financial plans and investment advisory services. CAUSEY is a member of the Financial Planning Division of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is an SEC Registered Investment Advisor. We believe that financial planning and investment advisory services require close contact with our clients to assess their needs and to develop strategies for reaching their short-term and long-term goals.
