HOUSING AND PUBLIC FINANCE SERVICES
Although we have one office, our housing and public finance practices are national in scope. Approximately 40% of our total firm volume consists of services for clients on the East and West coasts of the United States. Approximately 85% of our public finance practice is outside the Rocky Mountain Region. Our professionals have completed work on more than 5,000 issues nationally totaling over $50 billion, ranging in size from less than $1 million to more than $1 billion. We are the leading firm in our profession in terms of transaction volume. Our reports are accepted by all bond insurers in their credit enhancement evaluations, as well as by all of the major rating agencies. As evidence of our commitment to provide quality and timely services, we have developed our own in-house computerized software (1) to independently compute cash flows, yield calculations, and security coverage in the case of housing bonds and (2) to determine the amount of rebatable arbitrage associated with a bond issue. We are constantly expanding our service capabilities in order to meet industry needs. Our firm has developed the framework for reporting by issuers to meet arbitrage limitations and rebates to the U.S. Treasury in compliance with the 1986 Tax Reform Act, as amended.
