RETIREMENT AND EMPLOYEE BENEFIT PLANS

We currently provide a complete range of services for retirement plans and other employee benefit plans including audits, investment advisory services, plan administration, consulting services, and tax return preparation. Most of the retirement plans we currently audit are self-directed plans that invest primarily in mutual funds and pooled separate accounts of insurance companies. The retirement and employee benefit plan services we provide include the following:

  • Full scope and limited scope audits as required by the Employer Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 of Retirement Plans generally for plans with over 100 participants: We take pride in only performing audits of these plans after determining that an audit is required. Many times employees are counted as participants prematurely, resulting in the mistaken conclusion that an audit is required.

  • Audits of Health and Welfare plans: We are familiar with the regulations which determine which of these plans are subject to audit. We strive to perform the engagements in the most efficient manner possible.

  • Plan accounting including quarterly participants’ statements of account: For plans with fewer than 100 participants, we provide plan accounting services for plans that invest in a limited number of mutual funds. Our internally developed software tracks shares of mutual funds by participant and provides reporting to participants in a concise, easy-to-read format.
